Who am I?
My name is Max Eichelberger and I’m an attorney. I’ve worked for several agencies in the federal government as an attorney contractor supporting complex litigation. For NOAA, I supported complex discovery/litigation operations for Superfund Sites in the PNW. For the FAA, the same but with the 737 MAX.
Now I work for the City of Seattle handling complex and constitutional litigation.
Naturally, in the government world complex litigation has two discovery tracks: classic civil (or criminal) discovery, and public records. Over the years public disclosure has grown on me, and the transparency mission those laws represent. Now I like to talk about those laws, and my views from the inside looking out.
My views are my own and do not represent the City of Seattle, or any of my past employers.
